"The scripts don't work"

You and your unconscious mind are unique and so should any therapeutic intervention designed for you be unique to you and your circumstance.

Hypnotherapy and NLP

Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis to help with a wide variety of issues.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a set of tools and techniques to help us understand and change how we think and behave.

Both hypnosis and neuroscience can produce significant lasting change in you and in your employees where current issues and behaviours are preventing you from achieving optimum performance.

By accessing the subconscious mind, hypnosis and neuro linguistic programming have helped people with issues that hinder their performance in day-to-day life and work.

Example of issues include:

Procrastination

Stress & Anxiety

Insomnia

Public Speaking

Phobias

Low Confidence

Smoking

Alcohol Dependency

Weight Loss

Imposter Syndrome

Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone be hypnotised?

The short answer is YES.  In fact we go in and out on various trance like states throughout the day. For example have you ever set off on a journey in the car, reaching your destination and realise you don’t remember the detail of the journey despite the fact that you were doing something as complicated as using all the different senses needed to drive a car safely.

The role of the hypnotherapist is to help you to utilise these common states of mind where perhaps for example you are only aware of what you’re hearing… the voice of the hypnotherapist guiding you how to think.

If I’m hypnotised do I lose control?

No you do not lose control, in fact the hypnotherapist needs your full consent and permission in order to make hypnosis a success.

Once again it’s important to understand that the role of the hypnotherapist is to guide you and your thoughts and not control the way you think or what you do. You might think of it as self hypnosis that is facilitated by your therapist and you can come out of that state of deep relaxation at any time you feel uncomfortable.

Realising that you are in control and can make changes yourself can be very empowering.

What kind of conditions or issues can hypnosis help with?

Some very common situations that affect people’s lives and can be helped with hypnosis easily. These include…

Phobias (irrational fears), Anxiety and stress, Lack of confidence – including associated reactions like blushing, Rashes and eczema, Pain control, Insomnia, Memory, Exams, Grief, Smoking cessation, Alcohol abuse.

Also there are issues related to work (of course there is often an overlap) including…
